Sarfaraz Khan

IPL 2024: CSK, KKR And RCB In Race To Sign Sarfaraz Khan For Next Season, Claims Report.

Sarfaraz Khan has been making big news lately because he did really well in his first cricket match for India against England. Even though he scored lots of points in local games, it took a while for him to get picked for the national team. But when he finally got to play, it was a special moment because his dad was there watching.

In his first game, Sarfaraz did something amazing. He became only the fourth Indian player ever to score more than fifty points in both rounds of his first big match. He scored 62 points in the first round and 68 in the second, helping India win the game by a lot.

Sarfaraz did so well that some teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are interested in him. The IPL is a big cricket tournament in India. Even though nobody bought him for the last IPL season, some teams like Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are thinking about getting him for the next one.

A newspaper called Andndabazar Patrika says that three teams are thinking about picking Sarfaraz. KKR’s mentor, Gautam Gambhir, thinks Sarfaraz could make their team stronger. He wants Sarfaraz to join players like Rinku Singh, Nitish Rana, Shreyas Iyer, Jason Koy, and Andre Russell.

Another team, the Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni, might also try to get Sarfaraz. Dhoni likes the idea of having Sarfaraz on his team.

Even the Royal Challengers Bangalore want Sarfaraz back. He played for them before but didn’t get many chances because there were other great players like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, and Virat Kohli.

Sarfaraz has played in the IPL for a while now. He’s been on different teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals. He’s played 50 games and scored 585 points, with only one time where he scored more than 50 points.
