“IPL is much better than PSL”- Sikandar Raza hails IPL as the biggest league on the planet

Zimbabwe’s T20I captain, Sikandar Raza, thinks the Indian Premier League (IPL) is the best cricket league globally, much better than the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He’ll be playing for Punjab Kings in the upcoming IPL 2024. Right now, Raza is in the ILT20 league in the UAE, gearing up for the IPL.

Raza believes there’s no better practice than playing cricket. ILT20 is top-notch, and he’s excited about playing in the PSL too. He thinks playing in these leagues is the best way to prep for the IPL. According to Raza, the IPL is unique because all the best players gather for one big tournament. The crowds at IPL matches are amazing, almost as lively as those at PSL games.

Sunil Gavaskar predicts that CSK will make it to the top four in the IPL 2024 season. The IPL, which started in 2008, has become one of the biggest sports brands worldwide. Its success inspired other countries to start their own T20 leagues like the BBL in Australia and the CPL in the Caribbean.

Raza firmly believes that the IPL is the best cricket league, even better than the PSL. He’s grateful to Punjab Kings for choosing him in the auction. He feels lucky to be part of the IPL and doesn’t have a specific franchise or player he dreams of playing for. As long as he’s playing well, he’s happy.

Currently, Raza is playing for Dubai Capitals in the ILT20 league in the UAE, where David Warner leads the team.
