MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni Spends Time With Former Teammates Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, And Parthiv Patel Ahead of IPL 2024.

As the Indian Premier League (IPL) gears up for its next big season, MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, is getting ready too. Last time, he led his team to win the IPL, and now he’s getting ready to lead them again.

Before the IPL 2024 season kicks off, Dhoni was seen spending time with his old friends from the Indian cricket team. Zaheer Khan, Parthiv Patel, and Ashish Nehra, who used to play with Dhoni for India, met up with him recently. Parthiv even posted a photo of their get-together on Instagram.

Dhoni, known for his cool style on the cricket field, is getting all set to guide his team through another thrilling IPL season. His fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action once again, leading Chennai Super Kings to victory.

In the post, the ex-India players can be seen sitting on a couch. While Zaheer, Nehra and Patel have retired from competitive cricket, Dhoni still features in the IPL.

During a function organised by Single.ID, MS Dhoni last week talked about his style of leadership and what it takes to handle the responsibilities as the captain of a team.

“Loyalty has a lot to do with the respect factor. When you talk about the dressing room, unless the support staff or players respect you, it is difficult to get that loyalty.

It is actually about what you are doing and not about what you are speaking. You may not actually speak anything but your conduct can earn that respect,” MS Dhoni said.

As a leader, I’ve always believed that respect isn’t something you automatically get because of your title or position. It’s something you earn through your actions and how you treat others. People can feel unsure sometimes, and even if your team trusts you, you might be the one doubting yourself the most.

To put it simply, don’t demand respect; earn it by being genuine. Once you have people’s trust, good performance usually follows.

The captain who led his team to victory in the World Cup shared these thoughts.

After winning the IPL last time, fans of the Chennai Super Kings are eagerly waiting for MS Dhoni to return this year.

Dhoni had to deal with a knee injury last season, but that didn’t stop him from leading Chennai to their fifth IPL title. In the IPL 2023 final against the Gujarat Titans, Chennai, with Dhoni at the helm, won by five wickets.
